EURANIA Euranian means Euro-Iranian or Irano-European. Eurania is the geographical area of Europe extended eastwards to include Russia, Anatolia and Iran, the Caucasus and the western steppe lands. Ethnically it is the historic peoples of this area. Some experts describe the Euranian people as a confluence of three groups of ancient peoples: Original Hunter Gatherers, Anatolian Farmers and Indo-European Pastoralists. Some experts argue that the character of these peoples has been shaped by the fact their ancestors lived in the cold northern parts of the Earth. Linguistically Euranian languages are the ones spoken by these peoples. Indo-European languages predominate but there are other languages such as Basque, Finnish and Turkish. Euranian culture can be distinguished from other major cultures of the world, particularly the Chinese and the Indian. Its intellectual high culture is founded on Greco-Persian thought - characterised by a strong value placed on rationality. Religiously it is characterized by the dominance of a dualistic morality - that life is a struggle between Good and Evil. NB The Abrahamic religions might be considered a hybrid of Euranian culture and Semitic tribal culture with influence from other ancient civilizations.
