A Gigant (or Giant) is a being much larger than a human (with a tendency to be blind to individual human concerns or welfare) A Diabolon (or Devil) is a being that undermines, weakens or injures another being. A Varitor is a 'an encloser' - a being that has no natural limiting size and will continue to expand by absorbing the rest of the world until it is stopped. A Genius is the generative spirit of a being. A Tuton is a being that protects something in some way ('a tutelary deity'). A Trephon is a being that feeds and nurtures others A Socion is a social being - an alliance of Zoions A Menton is a being with a mind An Agon is a being that drives others in a particular direction. Spentons are beings that tend to increase the biothalia or flourishing of life. Angrons are beings that tend to decrease the biothalia or flourishing of life. Circons are beings that total surround a person. A person's circon is the rest-of-the-world for that person. Each person has their own circon and their worldly life is entirely determined by their circon and their actions in relation to it. Vaions are beings that stimulate and produce change. Mentivaions are beings that affect the mind (e.g. its thinking, spirit or character) (or Mantron) Ratons are beings that guide. Angelons are messengers or beings which convey information. They are a kind of Mentivaion that stimulate a mind in such a way that it grasps truth about the external world. SOME GIGANTES: Ontus is the all-encompassing world-being or world-giant Mentus is the world-mind Vaius is the giant of stimulation Arkus is the giant of power and influence. Plutus is the giant of money and wealth. Nuntius is the giant of story-telling and news-telling. Socius is the giant of alliance between people. Cibus is the giant of food and its provision. The concept of a wight is based on the perception that there are movements in the world which conform to a regular or meaningful pattern. A wight is a mental construct for whatever is the cause of that pattern. Some Examples of Types of Wights: soulwight – a living creature manwight – a person (from Old English Man – a person) placewight – keeps a particular place being the kind of place it is bandwight – causes people to associate with each other makerwight - causes things to be produced from raw materials breakerwight – cause things to break up – undermines their internal dynamic steererwight – what influences or governs multiple beings so that their different activities fit together to achieve some purpose tellerwight – what causes understandings of the world to travel from person to person goldwight – orders people’s perceptions of how much gold or money they have and other people have and how money is created and destroyed and transferred from one to another (or moneywight) garthwight – controls the building, placement and destruction of walls which are barriers of communication and influence between people. Garthwights build garths or enclosures within which holistic (i.e. self-contained and complete) activity can happen. Giants are wights which are large in size compared to us. These include the giant processes or activities of the natural world which continue regardless of their effect on humans. Similarly the movements of the human world which happen on such a large scale that they are not responsive to individual needs are also giants. The Demiurge is a kind of giant that is responsible for shaping the nature of people (and by extension other creatures also). A Natural Demiurge refers to anything that shapes the world, while otherwise a Manic Demiurge (manic=with a mind) is a conscious seat of activity which shapes the growth and nature of people. A Demiurge can be more or less good or bad. |
